How You Fit In

You’re an experienced QA Analyst who can hit the ground running in the first weeks and is able to manage your work, and yourself. You’ll focus on manual testing, but don't let this fool you — we’re looking for QA analysts who will be an essential part of the development team, and we’ll expect you to know your stuff. This wouldn’t be a good first role in the QA universe, but it’d be a great role for someone looking to leverage their experience in a startup-like environment.

You’ll join our QA team and will work on projects that usually last around 6 months, within a team of 6-7 people consisting of engineers, designers and QA, all led by a product manager. Usually, you can expect to work on only one project at a time and be involved from start to finish. We mostly test manually but, on some projects, we apply automated tests — so experience with automation is a plus. Tools we use include Jira, Testrail, Postman (Insomnia), Charles Proxy, Xcode and Android Studio. Regarding automation, we use tools such as Playwright/Cypress, XCUITest and Maestro.

Our team closely communicates with clients as well as with the internal project team from an early stage. This means that you will have a huge responsibility: to design the strategy and manage the testing process regarding each of your project's needs

At STRV, Your Role Will Be to:

  • Work with your team to establish a sense of collaboration and togetherness

  • Effectively prioritize what’s important
  • Proactively analyze, identify and communicate the state of a product to team members
  • Help us improve the internal QA community, knowledge, automation and processes
  • Create and follow test plans, test cases and test analysis reports to evaluate product functionality
  • Work on both web and mobile app testing
  • Play a key role in project development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and sprint retrospective
  • Confidently communicate in English with our US clients

We Expect You To Have

  • 3+ years of experience with manual testing

  • Previous experience with Postman,Testrail, Jira, Xcode, Android Studio
  • Proficient English
  • Knowledge and understanding of a product development life cycle
  • Ability to work individually on a project and as a part of the whole QA team

Nice-to-Have

  • Cypress, Playwright, XCUITest or Maestro
