We’re looking for a People Ops & Onboarding Specialist to join our People, Workplace & IT team. Your mission? Keep Rossum’s employee lifecycle running smoothly — from onboarding new joiners to managing payroll and supporting our expat community. You’ll balance daily operations with process improvements, data reporting, and projects that make a real difference to the employee experience.  

What You'll Do:

  • Own HR administration from onboarding to offboarding, including documentation, IT ticketing, and handovers.
  • Manage Czech payroll end-to-end with our external payroll provider.
  • Lead the onboarding process — from preboarding comms to delivering sessions twice a month.
  • Maintain and update our HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Organize HR filing systems (scanning, archiving, document management).
  • Support expat employees with visas, relocations, and immigration partners.
  • Coordinate employee benefits (Multisport, language courses, etc.).
  • Prepare HR reports and contribute to policy and process improvements.
  • Assist with compliance activities, internal audits, and occasional event coordination.

Who You Are 

  • 2+ years’ experience in HR administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Czech Labour Code; familiarity with other EU labour laws is a plus.
  • Fluent in Czech and English (spoken & written).
  • Confident with HRIS, payroll processes, MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, adaptable, and able to work independently.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with expat/immigration support.
  • Exposure to scale-up or SaaS environments.

What Success Looks Like 

Within 3 months:

  • Fully onboarded into Rossum’s HRIS, payroll, and onboarding workflows.
  • Deliver onboarding sessions independently by Month 2.
  • Run payroll accurately and on time every month.

Within 6 months:

  • 100% HRIS data accuracy and audit compliance.
  • Trusted relationships with managers, finance, and cross-functional teams.

Within 12 months:

  • Trusted to run People Ops processes independently.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that boost efficiency and employee satisfaction.
