In this role, the ideal candidate should be experienced building enterprise-level software in Java with Spring Boot and also have some motivation to work with frontend technologies like JavaScript / React. We are looking for candidates that want to build a SaaS product and are enthusiastic about using technology to support customer needs.
About your Team:
The Engineering Team is the largest of all our teams with around 70+ colleagues. We have eight teams working on 8 million lines of code split into 1000 modules and delivering over 1000 new features per year. The teams are divided into 3 units that own the development of our product and our delivery processes and practices. Being part of the Service Unit, you will be working with the Utils team, which is responsible for several key applications that support the operation of our product. The team is composed of 5 developers that cover both back-end and front-end development and work in collaboration with several other teams such as QA, DevOps and Customer Success. Our stack is in Java 11&17, Spring Boot, MyBatis, ActiveMQ Artemis, Antlr, React 16+, JavaScript, TypeScript, Maven, Git, AWS, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
What you'll do:
Be part of the team that is responsible for several key applications:
Keycloak - Authentication solution for our productInstaller - Package and install the on-prem version of the product
Agent - Core service to allow individual on-prem scanners to communicate with our SaaS product
Work on preparing MANTA's product to be operated as a software as a service (SaaS).
Work with Customer Success to support specific customer needs to install and operate our product.
Continuous improvement of our applications
Participate in the design and implementation of internal development processes such as testing, releasing, and deployment of the platform.
Keycloak - Authentication solution for our product
Installer - Package and install the on-prem version of the product
Agent - Core service to allow individual on-prem scanners to communicate with our SaaS product.
Admin UI - Manage all product-related aspects
What you should have:
Relevant experience working in Java with Spring Boot (at least 3 years as indicative);
English language on a conversational level;
Bachelor's degree in Software engineering or relevant professional experience;
Autonomy to pick features and work with all relevant stakeholders to find and deliver a solution;
Passion for writing clean, modular, and testable code;
Experience working in enterprise level software products;
Experience with Linux (nice to have);
Experience working with CI/CD (nice to have);
Knowledge with message queue systems (nice to have);
Experience with containers (nice to have);
Experience in React, TypeScript and JavaScript (or strong motivation to quickly learn).
