🏋️‍♀️THE CHALLENGE…

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to join our team. This crucial role ensures financial accuracy and efficiency by overseeing transactional processes, managing problematic payments, and maintaining communication with stakeholders.

📈AND THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES…

Payment issue resolution:

  • Utilise specialised tools and methods to manage and resolve issues related to problematic payments.
  • Identify and correct instances of duplicate payments promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve issues concerning untraceable payments, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address payment discrepancies effectively.

System and transaction management:

  • Execute necessary corrections and updates within the accounting system.
  • Oversee transaction-related communications with relevant banking institutions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Communication and coordination:

  • Track and verify payments across multiple systems, including bank platforms, accounting software, and internal tools, ensuring proper matching and reconciliation.
  • Maintain transparent and effective communication channels with stakeholders, including vendors, internal departments, and management.

Verification and control:

  • Conduct thorough checks on credit notes at regular intervals, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify bank confirmations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of banking information, collaborating with auditors or compliance teams as necessary.

Ad hoc tasks, such as:

  • Drive monthly costs capitalisation process
  • Assist with monthly closing and reporting and budgeting process as well
  • Report to state institutions, such as the Czech Statistical Office
  • Improve financial processes between internal systems and accounting software
  • Document processes in Notion
  • Support other Finance department operations

✅ REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE…

  • Proven experience in accounting - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Educational background in economics
  • A master of time and independence, juggling tasks, and organizing your work
  • Fluent in Czech and English

Please note that we will only accept candidates based in Prague with valid EU work permits.
