We’re looking for a Chief Accountant who will work closely with our CFO and oversee Rossum's accounting department, develop financial strategies, help company management with strategic planning, and make sure the company complies with state and federal financial regulations. In this role, you’ll take ownership of every aspect that goes into producing an organization's report, from cost-productivity and margins all the way down to expenditures.

You’ll help us with the following:
- Lead the accounting department (3-5 people)
- Lead month-end closing from A to Z

In this role you will:
- Serve as an active member of Rossum's Leadership Team to help drive Rossum's business strategy and transformations efforts to become the leading subscription and SAAS company in the field.
- Recruiting, managing, and developing a best-in-class accounting department of approximately 3-4 employees.
- Partnering with the CFO to determine accounting and tax implications for all material and complex business transactions.
- Overseeing all accounting operations; ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with US GAAP, IFRS, and Rossum's accounting policies.
- Acting as a liaison to internal and external audit firms.
- Overseeing tax compliance and strategy in conjunction with the CFO.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
- Helping to lead (in conjunction with the CFO) the implementation of a new ERP (NetSuite)
- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
You should apply if
- You have previous experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief or Senior Accountant
- Thorough knowledge of basics accounting procedures
- In-depth understanding of IFRS principles and recurring revenue model
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial accounting principles
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/ year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
