We are looking for a proactive and skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Czech Republic. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis, working with clients to identify and solve their business problems, educating more junior colleagues but especially bringing suggestions how data can better help our business.
👩🏻💻 What can you expect to do as a Senior Data Analyst?
- Perform exploratory data analysis on client data to assess data quality and suitability for specific use cases.
- Engage in discussions with clients to understand and effectively address their business problems.
- Design, build and test data ETL pipelines using a combination of pre-built components and custom scripts as required.
- Create and maintain project documentation alongside internal documentation as required.
- Develop scripts and create dashboards tailored to client needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and suggest improvements for efficient project delivery.
- Identify opportunities to optimise data processing and cleansing procedures
- Provide occasional training to clients, partners or internal teams
- Advising to junior colleagues with complicated situations and teach them
- Be advisor for management and our clients how to use data to have a better impact on business.
📍What do we expect from you?
Be proficient in:
- SQL with a focus on query efficiency and optimisation.
- Python/SQL for data transformations.
- Working with databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Use REST APIs.
- Build ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with data structures, types and modelling.
- Data transfer formats like CSV, JSON.
- Visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Metabase or Data Studio.
- Knowledge of the MarTech and AdTech stack, including digital tracking in web and mobile applications.
- Version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with real business
- Familiarity with AWS S3 and Google Cloud Storage.
- Experience with ad tech stacks (Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads).
- Shell scripting and command line experience in Linux environments.

After responding to Slack messages, you'll do a quick sync with the team to define priorities, what's urgent and where you need help.
- An analyst at Meiro works face-to-face with clients, solving real business problems. That's why you'll be involved in client meetings and help shape the project.
- You will work on transforming and cleansing data, finding faster or more efficient ways of doing things.
- You may be asked to write technical documentation about your implementation for our internal purposes.
- From time to time you may contribute to internal learning or training for the client.
