We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team in the sneaker retail industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Tableau, Metabase, SQL, and a basic understanding of data engineering, particularly in ETL processes (Keboola, Snowflake). This role will involve responsibilities for regular pricing, transforming data into actionable insights through Tableau to drive strategic decisions and enhance business performance.
What's the job all about?
Pricing
👟 Analyse internal inventory movements based on sales of the products
👟 Maintain and continuously improve the pricing model
👟 Recommend the pricing adjustments to maximise profitability based on the pricing model
👟 Be part of the pricing model automation team responsible for full automation of the pricing process of Footshop and Queens
Data analysis and reporting
👟 Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Tableau/Metabase.
👟 Analyze large volumes of data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
👟 Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support decision-making.
Data Quality Management
👟 Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
👟 Optimize and develop SQL queries for automated data insights
Business Collaboration
👟 Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and purchasing, Marketing and Retail to understand business requirements and translate them into data-insights that are used on regular basis by stakeholders and portfolio managers.
👟 Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to present findings, gather feedback or provide evaluation
Continuous Improvement
👟 Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
👟 Identify opportunities to improve existing BI processes and tools.
What we're looking for in you?
Experience
👟 Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
👟 Proven experience with Tableau/Metabase/Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
👟 Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation and analysis.
Technical skills
👟 Basic understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL processes.
👟 Familiarity with data warehousing and database management systems is a plus.
👟 Experience with other BI tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
👟 Ability to work with Excel and Google Sheets on a daily basis.
