🌍 Investment Analyst

• Communication with startup founders will be your bread and butter. You will be in touch with the startups that approach us but you also will be actively looking for new ones as well as networking at various events to get to know them better.
• You will analyze the startup investment data, evaluate the pitch decks, and research the product of the startup and its competition.
• You will organize and participate in the initial calls where we get acquainted with their team and product in detail.
• When we move with the founders to the next phase, you will analyze their business model in depth so we can decide whether it makes sense to invest in them.
• Together with our lawyers, you will participate in the due diligence & transaction closure. You are likely to act as a project manager for the whole process and will help get all the necessary information we need.
• You will also help with creation of the quarterly fund reports.
• There is also some administrative work that we all do and help each other with. So we would appreciate you participate on the following:
• organizing meetings of the fund team
• creating the meeting minutes and following up on tasks discussed on the meetings
• preparing content updates on our website or in our newsletters
• coordinating post-production and publishing of Purple Ventures Talks video podcasts

• You are a tech enthusiast. We mostly invest in technology start-ups, so an interest in new technologies will make your job easier.
• You are proficient in English. It would be very advantageous if you have spent some time abroad and thanks to that understand different cultures.
• You have a pro-business mindset, enjoy analyzing and exploring data in depth. You are confident in Excel and reading financial data.
• You enjoy communicating with people and have no problem networking in a foreign environment with new people. You are willing to travel to events in CZ but also abroad.
• Project management experience and a desire to see things through will be highly valued.
• You want to be a part of the team and to team up with others.
• We prefer somebody who will work with us full-time but we are open to discussing a part-time option (3-4 days a week).

• Some experience with starting a company would be a big plus or any experience with a similar project at school. Thanks to that you'll have a better understanding of how founders feel and how challenging their position can be.
• Understanding Czech would be nice to have.
