Senior Fullstack Developer (Node.js, Typescript, React)

As Fullstack Developer in PoLAR team you are responsible for development and maintenance of our in house developed SaaS solution for financial and risk reporting. This role is closely cooperating with other developers, Azure engineers, business analysts, tester(s) and other NN teams. In this role you also work actively with Azure platform and modern functionalities it offers.

Your main responsibilities would be to:

Based on input from business analysts prepares proposal for infrastructure design, processes, structure, code, variables. (end-to-end)
Responsible for designing, coding and maintaining complete platforms. This includes both the client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) components.
Work closely with BizDevops team including analysts, other developers and Product owner to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Prepares Unit tests and application infrastructure together with team members
Tackle complex issues, debug code and optimize performance bottlenecks. Have experince in identifying and resolving errors & bugs efficiently
Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation and support testing
Mentor junior developers, make architectural decisions and drive excellence in software development

What is expected from you:

Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript and React is a MUST; REST API, Redux state management is required
Proven working experience with NoSQL (Cosmos DB or MongoDB) is required; Knowledge of SQL syntax is advantage
At least basic knowledge of Azure platform (Serverless services, VM's, networking, DevOps pipelines & CI/CD)
Basic knowledge of Python & R languages is an advantage
Secure by design principle, work experience in (highly) regulated environment (Insurance, Banking, …)
Able to work in agile WoW (SCRUM), self-motivated and committed, well organized, diligent, highly result oriented
Interest to learn new technologies, methods is required (e.g. Azure image builder, … )
