The Trezor product department is looking for a skilled and experienced Design Lead. Our goal is to become the most user-friendly self-custody wallet globally, pushing our user experience to the moon. Trezor has been instrumental in shaping the hardware wallet industry, and as we continue to grow during the next bull market, we remain committed to innovation. Our vision is ambitious - we want to attract millions of users and provide them with the safest and most user-friendly hardware wallet available.
You’d be a great match if:
- You’re experienced in design with a proven track record of leading and managing design teams
- You’re passionate about design principles, user experience, user research, and seeking out new approaches towards product discovery
- You enjoy challenges and have a talent for making complicated matters simpler and easier to understand
- You prioritize design-thinking principles and assist in driving further development in this area
- You enjoy being challenged with strong beliefs and points of view
- You’re a Figma wizard and are proficient in other design tools
- You have the ability to recognize the impact of various initiatives and prioritize those that drive us closer to our goals
- You have knowledge or experience in cryptocurrency (a big plus), or a strong willingness to learn about the industry is essential
Your responsibilities at Trezor
- Design Team management
- Lead a team of designers to ensure that product demands are effectively met
- Enable fully functional product teams and collaborate closely with them as a valuable partner
- Evaluate the design team's knowledge and competences, foster their growth, and inspire creativity
- Drive design maturity
- Assist in establishing new design processes and address any challenges that arise along the way
- Promote design maturity by implementing guidelines and improvements company-wide
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to facilitate effective cooperation between other departments and the design team
- Maintain an eagle eye over the variety of user touchpoints: eShop, Trezor Suite, Trezor Firmware and education products
- Strategic involvement driving in the mission "The most user-friendly self-custody solution on the market"
- Embrace our ambitious mission of creating the most user-friendly product on the market
- Ensure consistency in the user experience across all touchpoints
- Utilize the new brand identity and support others in crafting state-of-the-art UX, UI, and branding designs
